I like how they make those frames to look like old steel ones where they're "joined", and the geometry looks decent unlikely some bikes like Specialized bikes, planet x (apart from nano light or w/e it is) and giant bikes that have all ugly frames.
  • Must of missed this post. Well done old chap.....a C50 is a mighty fine frame!

    Cap'n Fagor - I like having a Colnago seatpost...

I can understand that. It might be worthwhile loosening and adjusting it once in a while to make sure it doesn't get stuck in the frame - that's why I was suggesting a shim. I installed one in my C50 a couple of years ago for this very reason. And in the interim, one of my non-shimmed carbon seatposts has stuck fast in a carbon frame (Bianchi). Very annoying.

    Thanks for the tip!

    Carbon paste it is...

Will - that's exactly why I like it so much too (The joins are called Lugs).

    Cheers NnS!

    Very nice. 8)

What made you ditch the S2 Nap'?

The one decked out in Cinelli RAM looks well nice. 8)

I haven't ditched the S2 yet, still hoping for the Litespeed to sell. It's on eBay at a ridiculously low price, 18 watchers (most likely all BR forum members just wanting to see if it sells) with no bids and 2.5hrs to go...

If the Litespeed doesn't sell it's the S2 unfortunately.
  • Nice piece of kit you've got there Mr D.

Of course, the Bikeradar readership only want to know one thing.

How are you finding the Campag Chorus gruppo? Welcome to the dark side!
Let's close our eyes and see what happens

Having been a Bianchi fan for some years I scratched the Colnago itch in May.

I bought a C40 and cannot believe the ride. I adore it, I can;t compare it in any way to my current 'stable' in that it fits like a glove if that makes any sense. Even with 50mm Carbon Clinchers its still super comfy yet very responsive and climbs like Sherpa Tenzing !

    Enjoy your C50 :D

Today I rebuilt the Litespeed with Red, I put the Black/Red Arione saddle and FSA OS99 Carbon stem on the Colnago. It's starting to come together. Now to get some black record brake calipers...

A class bike (as was the C40). it will do until you see an EPS or C59 at a good price. It will look nice with those Boras

I don't actually want an EPS or C59... Wanted a C50 since they came out and it will do forever. And thanks for letting the cat out of the bag with the wheels
