I'll throw some weight behind the good morning thread that started in the correct fashion, at the start of the day, and not some night night rip off :D:D:D

Off out to work, last day today and for a treat I get to go to both Shrewsbury and Coventry, lucky me. I do follow it up with 2 trips to Walsall again mind

Later, I shall be continuing to pack all my shizzle for Boom Festival and printing more HOMBRES merchandise for the weekends partying

Then off to the pub to discuss plans for our hols and who's taking what

    Laterz

    Morning all,

Off today, possibly going to Friston forest for a spot of riding for the first time with a mate. Hoping the weather holds up!

Apart from that, nothing else planned!
  • Good morning all.....

Heading into work today, still have a bad stomach, still hurts although the squirts have gone. Its nice being at home and recouperating/dossing, although I keep losing money. So going to drag my sorry ass in and see how it goes. Only a 9-5 slot so no long days feeling shite.

Mey nip into the Spitalfields branch of Evans and purchase a Fox Flux, although was looking at the Spesh Tactic which is way cheaper and doesnt look too bad - gues Ill try a few on and see what fits the best.

    MY FRAME ARRIVES TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be filling the morning with some work, then hoping to sneak out this afternoon to go get headset fitted and post off my old frame to its new home.
If I'm really lucky, I'll be building this evening :D

Oh and good morning all! :D

Another day at work and my second day trying to discover the limits of the stock tyres on the Vitamin in the rain

Not sure how to follow a few post about the wrong hole..........

But I will try! Work, followed by an award evening for work. The sunshine on the horizon is trying to work out if I can get a garmin 705 on the bike to worjk scheme

I'd like to have a go on her.
Your solution is clearly limes and string based.
Or, leave them both in a ditch with their heads on backwards
    [/sheepsteeth]

Seriously though, sounds like a bit of a cnut. I've been known to have a dabble with a birds mates in the past (not fantastic mates really are they). But if you then go and tell your bird all about it, you're doing it wrong

I'm sure none of this is making you feel much better though

She doesn't know him or what happened with us, he just started messaging her the other day. Saw her on my fb. I haven't spoken to her about it. So no I'm not mad with her.

Hold on, it's a fundamental (har) fact of the universe that all women are at least a tiny bit crazy!

Or that could just be any one that's ever talked to me... Hmmmm...

You'd have thought that 22 years is long enough to have worked out how to sleep at night. Somehow, it's a skill I'm yet to crack, so I have once again been awake all night, bored out of my skull.

I reckon I need someone to come and knock me out with a hammer each night, that seems to work in cartoons. Any takers?

Today, if I can be bothered to move, I'll be going on a road ride to wake myself up (I'll be going through the centre of Birmingham, so it's a case of wake up or die), then I'll be getting myself a nice Vitamin supplement...

    Yes they seem to be...
All of them are ashamed of me :( ....and then try it on with my friends and end up with them....seems to be a pattern, it's happened a few times!

    Maybe through beer goggles.....

And no I'm not mental, I used to be in my younger days, weren't we all!!!....but then I grew up thank God!

Doesn't work. I've tried everything you can get over the counter, and still end up just staring at the ceiling... I also don't particularly like the idea of taking strong prescription sedatives, then trying to ride bikes through traffic in the mornings.

this is exactly why I don't date men!!! I'm fed up with girlfriends men trying it on with me

seriously though, you're a good looking girl, you seem normal on here, it's definately his loss, and if your mate gets wind of it he might be back to pamela handerson and her 5 sisters.

Anyway forget about the clown and enjoy your trip. And good luck with easyjet

Meh....I'm off men. I never go in search of relationships anyway...if I meet someone I do blah blah....

TBH at the moment I don't have the time or the energy to deal with the cr@p that comes with having someone. From what I have seen of men so far, I don't like them....not in a I want to spent my life living with you kind of way. I'm sure all men are not the same.....but the ones that want to get involved with me are. And I am fed up of not being good enough and having people be ashamed of me....so, I'm not even going there at the moment, my confidence does not need more battering thank you very much!...

So I guess I will become a crazy old cat lady....although I am not sure how that works being allergic to cats?!!!

You could have a vitamin D defficiency?
If I get insomnia, this is usually the cause, I have a friend who gets me some tablets that are 1000 times RDA or something. Usually get me back on track after a week or so!
Worth trying if you haven't already!

my technique, I've mentioned before. Do you tend to lie awake and think? I used to but now I pop on a DVD I've watched loads and know inside out. I start watching, but because I'm familiar with it, I stop thinking about it and drift off. The DVD is enough to stop my mind wandering, but also not enough to make me concentrate. Give it a go, but it takes a while to get used to

Hmmm, hadn't thought of that. I shouldn't have, I get out in the sun enough on my bike, but I suppose it's possible. I'll grab some tablets from somewhere and give it a try. Cheers.

You will need a high dose so if you buy them from the chemist you will probably need to take about 5/6 a day to have an effect.

The way I can tell if it's a vitamin D issue is that I can sleep when it is light, anytime from sunrise to sunset, but in the dark I can't get any shut-eye. That's the telltale sign for me and I start chomping the talets.

But I came from half living in a hot place, and doing long haul flights with 3/4 day layovers in the sun back to living in the UK full time :( So was a heck of a shock to the system.

Vitamin D also helps with my mood, if I am a bit down, I take them for a week or so.
