God I wish I had Eurosport. ITV sucks so much.

It's a shame there's a stiff headwind - likely to dampen attacks somewhat.

Things to remember before you set out to watch the Tour:-

    - Bike, check
    - Plenty of water, check
    - Radio to listen to the race, check
    - Giant inflatable genitalia, check

    All set to go!

Lofkvist looking stronger than wiggins this year, just as Iain predicted! quote]

Yep, fairly certain that Lokvist is mid pack whilst Wiggins is desperately follow Shack wheels at the back by the looks of things

I wonder what odds you could have got on Charteau to win the polka dots at the start of the Tour? That classification is virtually a lucky dip these days.

What was going on with Schleck? I was on the phone so missed the sound, looked like he was trying not to bonk...

He just grabbed a handful of gels and bars to shove in his pocket. It was just weird to see him going back to the car when Fuglsang was right there next to him. Maybe he wanted to talk to Riis off the radio.

The peloton is reforming on the descent, about 30 secs behind a group including Sastre and Cunego, and 2'40" behind Riblon.

Astana are crap, they'll never be able to work for Bertie...

ITV4 is taking the piss. Time to head downstairs for Eurosport.

So what's everyone's prediction? Contador rides away from Schleck or Schleck away from Contador, or neither?

ITV4 is taking the wee-wee. Time to head downstairs for Eurosport.

Have you not been watching this year? They've been pretty good and Vino's been amazing for contador. Better than any othher GC competitor's teammate.

Surprised about Gesink. Thought he would move up the GC this week, not down.

Pretty certain that's the first time I've seen Leipheimer in two weeks.

Looks like Riblon is going to take this. Leipheimer dropped, but gets back on, and Gesink looks like he'll do the same.
