What do you want these guys to talk about when nothing's happening?

Ooops, Sean Kelly. 'Tis my first time listening to Eurosport.

I'm sure they can do better than that piece of drivel.

I think you have just demonstrated you can't

disappointing lack of aggressiveness by the peloton IMO

    red cards all round....

    needs more cobbles or somefink

    +1

This is the third day in a row where sod all has happened. Even Walter Mitty - aka Carlton Kirby - is starting to run out of fantastical stories about his exploits in the South Pacific / Sealand / Alps.

I too think that the guys do a pretty good job-given how boring flat stages can be...The stuff about the deep rims etc was proper foot in mouth stuff though..

As for Carlton Kirby, I just cannot take to his constant BS stories-no-one in a lifetime could claim to do half the stuff he does in an average week

Ha even Sean has given up listening and started reading his paper

Well he obviously collects a lot of newspapers of many languages in the Depart Village.
In the old days he would be asked how the race is and give the update.
With Harmon it's the same thing everyday and he only gets interupted from the papers when a stupid question is asked once again or
Sean gets out of the box to meet friends because the noise is too painful and the only way he can mute the s.o.b.

I think it was on Eurosport last year too, but just a highlights package - no live stuff.

    I read that Phil said:

Italians have never ridden well in the tour, they must not have enough spaghetti at the end of the race for them

Don't know if it's true but it is totally dodgy.

And I was watching a dvd of Cav's wins y'day (thanks to Cycle Sport) and for the sprint in the Milan Giro9 stage, they are saying (about 5 times), and Petacchi in the Ciclimino jersey is on the front/why is he leading from the front, etc, and the person in the jersey is actually EBH. They made another dodgy mistake but cannot recal it.

Yeah, he said that (or at least words to that effect) when they crossed over into France a couple of days ago. Pretty daft comment, but fairly harmless.

Silly of Boom to fall asleep.
Harmon: "They have a tailwind in the last 30kms, so it will speed up."
Km 29 and the peloton almost at a standstill.

You'll just have to wait until EBH goes

Are you suggesting they speed up to catch the break with 20 km still to go?
