Another one for sprinters. The Shack hoping for wind.

That Japanese fellow says he's going to attack.

They go through a place called Moussy, appropriate for the champagne region.

Should be one of those stages where you can tune in for the last 5km and not miss a trick. Big pressure on Cav and the team today.

Cav needs to get that monkey off his back otherwise I fancy he'll pack in Saturday or Sunday.

Wiggins crashed in the neutralised zone today. According to his team he's in a bit of pain but is okay. #Tdf 2 minutes ago via web

Not so sure, Cav's a determined little b*gger and he loves this race and everything it stands for. Even if he stinks up the next couple of days I reckon he'll hold out for the Champs Elysees sprint...

I think that's the point, he hasn't been very determined lately. It is a mental problem, but its a mental problem that's caused by a physical one. He just can't do it.

The break has gone, but their gap has gone up and then come down again quite a lot. Currently at 5.30

On a completely unrelated note, have Lampre signed anyone recently?

I bet if they have 30 seconds with 20km left Liggett will be getting excited and asking if the bunch have mistimed the chase.

I'd prefer an excited Liggett to Harmon and Kelly discussing groinal chafing and garden-based train sets at length....

Didn't get in the break although told Cyclingnews he would be. He's most likely pissed.

what my wife told me, I thought it was Harmon and Kirby, then Kirby trying to interupt Harmon in full audio flow to say something he missed on the screen. She told me that Sean made a brief comment and didn't want to know and the silence was deafening then saved by the ad break.
They both must get saddle sores on their motorbikes then,

These days I prefer P&P as the are commentating what's on screen in Sync.
I just switch off when they go Stateside or on that other planet.

I could have done with some of that. First week back after two weeks in Provence, temperatures in the mid 30's every day and nothing to do but ride my bike. I had to buy a couple of sleeveless tops. :D

Yeah, Harmon's doing his side to side record attempt on a motorbike.

Oh no, wait. It's a tandem.

“Alberto had a present for us, a watch,” Bruyneel told Sporza. “Everybody in last year’s team had already had it, except Lance and I; it’s a nice gesture of him.”
