I was forced into watching the last 20m when I paid a visit on my friend after my spoke broke. God I've never been so bored. England quite frankly are the crappest team I have watched and yes that's over France!

Those bloody horns were drowned out by the booing. Go go England, you over paid idiots.

I was shocked to quote Patches Hoolahan in Dodgeball, "It's like watching a bunch of retards trying to fcuk a dooknob". We were bad, these people believe they are worth £50k a week or more???? Rooneys rant at the camera was arse as well, they all need to take a long hard look in the mirror and wonder what they want to achieve in their lives.

I would imagine that getting £50k upwards a week for their career plus all the toys/designer crap they get is actually what they wanted. If you've reached the levels of playing for MU/Chelsea/Arsenall etc then you've hit the heights unless you make the move to Inter or Barca etc and that's a gamble. Didn't work for Gascoigne. World Cup? - nah, doesn't pay the bills.

Fact is they're over paid and do not give a crap about England. I suspect the manager was quite hard with them, but they didn't like that and threw the dummy out of the pram. A lot of English people paid 2k+ to get out there and watch their team, did the England players care? No. The fans should get a reinbursment of their tickets, directly out of the pockets of the players.

I get new meds today, me then not so grumpeh!

    big house in cheshire
a few million in the bank
    Bentley Continental in the drive
    trophy wife

trouble is - they have already achieved it, while they are still young and with cash to spare.....that's why they have no ambition.....

But the team that eventually does win the World Cup will be made up of eleven players who are exactly the same. The likes of Messi, Kaka, Xavi and Robben aren't exactly struggling to pay the mortgage or get into a decent team.

I feel the same. I work for myself so could go home and watch it but really can't be bothered. Am looking forward to some of the other games much more than England, and if they are crap i can just switch over to something else and not feel some ridiculous duty to watch the whole match!

Golden generation my ar*e, how are they better than the following:

    Seaman
    Adams
    Gaza
    Ince
    Shearer
    Sheringham
    Macca

Also I'd even rather G Neville than uselss Johnson.

Only in about 2 positions, e.g. left back( Pearce Vs A. Cole) and right wing (Lennon Vs Anderton) are the "golden generation" level pegging or better.

Still saying all that, I still expect England to go through, Capello is too good a coach not to get it sorted.

NB: Anyone else noticed Rooney's strike rate for England is dire?

You know I love cyclists who clearly have no knowledge of football commenting on the game.

Some of these comments give a chuckle. To cool for school types.

We're not an average side far from it.

Problems are pressure, players out of position, players off form and tactical ineptness. Lack of desire maybe one but i really do not want to believe this.

I remember 86 and was at the 90 world cup. We were shocking in our first 2 group games. Hopefully history repeats itself and we tonk Slovenia.

You may not be an average side but you certainly look it.
And I know what an average side looks like.

The players should be able to handle the pressure.
The manager shouldn't play the players out of position.
Multi million pound manager and players should have some tactical awareness.

Lose Heskey, bring in Cole and get a balanced midfield, regardless of egos. Sorted!
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.
