Anyway England are "Gash", now start talking about cycling. This is a cycling forum after all. How much time do yo think the football neanderthals talk about cycling on their forums ?0

england to win the world cup,its like me winning the tdfgoing downhill slowly0

I have never had to leave the room during an England game before. Tonight was a first.
France lacked passion, and after their game is did say that however bad England are they never lack passion. However tonight England were just abject.
Feel free to rib me if you are celtic. I just don't care anymore!!!0 -
Do car flags fit on to wheelie bins? I'm going to try it because England were rubbish.0
-
They certainly fit in wheelie bins.0
-
USA, except the goalie, nobodies.
ALGERIA, few good players, but not World leading team.
We can't beat them, play badly too, Rooney think it's the Fans fault, Cappucino happy that we haven't actually "lost" a game so far.
5 MILLION QUID for this idiot...Why?0 -
FFS. Why can't I be German?0
-
At the end of the day, at least they played with pride......0

another one that has completely missed the point of the cake stop forum...
England were shite by the way - did anyone mention that..?0 -

proven.
absolute crap0 -
Pride/ Where? Should be ashamed to take their wages.
Should give em to the slum kids who live around their multi million dollar hotels/complex.
As a former Coach..,I'd be ashamed if my team performed so badly.
Pride don't win games, scoring more GOALS than your opposition does...0 -
Thanks for the support Splottboy.
My whole life (46 years) after every World Cup there are calls for English players to improve their passing of the ball.
Will this ever happen?
Was this the worst performance ever? Steven Gerrard seems to think so.0 -
I've coached/taught Basketball, Badminton, Football, Cycling, Trampolining, Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Self Defence/Martial Arts etc.......
I can see that there were basic errors, but you shouldn't see these at this level.
AND I MEAN BASIC!
Crosses overhit, passes off target, defensive tackles missed.
And that pratt who got the yellow card also pulled down an Algerian player in the England box in the last few mins.
Shoulda been a red card, and a penalty.0 -

Why do idiots like you come into 'Cake Stop', click on a thread called England v Algeria, and then complain that we're discussing football?"There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -
That was awful.
At least Steve G was man enough to say that they weren't good enough and didnt try to blame to ball or some other load of c0ck and bull0 -
I think there's one man who'd rather be in Manchester where he gets some appreciation.

I think he was pretty p!sh tonight but at least he's not a carthorse like Heskey or Crouch!0 -
If this was the threat of the half time team talk, I'd dare them to play like that again.
Passion is what's needed, someone to get stuck into that passionless bunch while on the pitch, not admitting you were 5hite after, having done nothing to put it right during."There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -
-
It was hopeless. One of the worst England performances I've seen. If I was coach I'd have a big overhaul and put out the following side (4-4-1-1)
James
Johnson Terry Upson Cole
Milner Barry* Lampard Cole
Gerrard
Rooney
*I'd rather have Scott Parker
Forget about speedy wingers who can't cross or pass. Put Gerrard where he wants to be and make sure he plays there, not wherever he feels like. Rooney has a half to do something, otherwise Defoe's on. (I don't thing Heskey has done as badly as some, but it's not working)Twitter: @RichN950 -

I wonder if the English people will now start to realize their team is average at best. Always has been. Probably always will be.
Only thing that makes the Premiership the best league in the world.... is all the foreign players in it!0
