I'm no big film buff but I've seen a few in my time and to pick five is difficult because like music it depends on the mood I'm in.

The family way (60's working class realism)
Das boot (great study of men at war)
    Saving private Ryan (horrific)
    Dream house (incredible horror short)
Matilda (Never fails to make me laugh out loud)
    Tail end Charlie

The above post may contain traces of sarcasm or/and bullsh*t.

    Dracula (Bela Lugosi version)
Went the Day Well (easy guess which blockbuster novel and film ripped it off)

I loved it. One of the view big dollar films which was a proper adult drama, as opposed to teenage stuff with enough drugs sex and violence to warrant an 18 certificate.

Not a fan of romantic dramas, but it really got the hook in me. Excellent.

    City of God
    Crash
    Babel
    This is England
    Casino Royale

Don't watch alot of films and i'm too young for alot of the old ones. Might check out a few of the ones mentioned. Dead Man's Shoes was a good watch too.

Shawshank, Saving Private Ryan and Schindlers List are the must see greats for me.
