I hate, in no particular order......

Craig david, anyone who namechecks himself in a song needs a kicking.
    Daniel Durillo, see above.
    Jazz.
    Wham.
ABC, hated it at the time, hate it now absolutely no nostalgic indulgence there.
Coldplay, arty w@ank who just aren't as good as the hype and devotion bestowed upon them.
Oasis, see above, apart from the first album which had about 4 good songs.
    R'n'B, where do I start ?

I could go on, but I'm off to download some St Etienne, aahhhh Sarahb Cracknell, mmmmmm :D

I agree for Craig David, but can we make an exception to the kicking rule for the Ramones, Julian Cope and Lou Reed?

Yes, they are exempt. Ok the caveat is R'n'B name checking.

    Most national and local radio.

And especially MPeople, I have flashbacks to when I worked in a factory with the yokel waydeeyo staion blasting out over the tannoy, there was no escaping it, especailly as the moronic DJ with nothing else to say for himself told us that it'd be playing after the break. Oh f*** it! Here I am, hands full of a long stringer of PE foam, having to push it through a red-hot former and I've got to endure four minutes of that! No wonder the job drove me mad...

You mean "Search for the hero?"

I reckon that song was written by a motivational speaker and a marketing man holed up in a Travelodge somewhere with nothing more than a tin of beige paint and a copy of Caravanning Weekly for inspiration.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. A real crime against the ears and brain.

Worse than that. One Night In Heaven.

No doubt we'll get saturated with Search For A Hero during the Olympics, reason enough why we shouldn't have bid for them...

Daniel and Natasha Beddingfield - Freaky god people...
The vast majority of stuff in the charts at any given time. It's all merchant bank!
We Buy Any Car, Gocompare (which I did use and it's not bad)
Anything by Phil Collins - used to be a huge fan now I hate his music

I'm sure there's many many many more.

She won 2 Ivor Novellos recently, didn't she ? Unbelievable. Glib, vacuous and annoying in equal measure. I wouldn't pi55 on her if she was on fire. :D

My g/f doesn't listen to music at all! I've tried to school her in the ways of the Stone Roses etc, but nothing! I reconsidered the relationship when she asked for Love Spreads to be turned off after 30 seconds. *shakes head*.

Wasted a good part of yesterday wondering why I couldn't get the words to 'The Court of King Caractacus' out of my head. Rolf, you are a dead man.
