For something with such a race pedigree it should be a race cassette, say an 11-23, not touring ratios. Sorry.

However it is indeed a thing of great beauty. Is it just me but are Pinarello now the most desirable bikes out there, right now?

Dont apologise for having an opinion. I will however respectfully disagree and say I am happy how it is. The South West is lumpy. Mendips, Cotswolds et al and this suits me fine.

I've got a compact with 12-26. The South West takes no prisoners!

I'm only trying to wind you up!. I've got compact and 13/26 on my road bikes. Hilly in the Chilterns? Oh yes!

    Love your bike, it's fabulous.

Very nice indeed! Any idea of the weight?

I have a pair of the Pro Stealth Evo's awaiting my collection for my Colnago. I'm thinking it Dura Ace I'm going to go with, it just looks so nice.

Lovely! I've seen a few these about & they look even better in the flesh.

Gotta agree with some earlier comments though...a bike like that should have a "misters" chainset on it....Its not a "sportive" bike, it's a thoroughbred race tool!

If my beloved Addict R1 was to meet a sticky end I would consider one of these things.

Not really, its about how I ride and more so want to ride it. Saying it should have 25 or less is conforming to club mentality and simply adhereing to cliche. I do however say thanks for your comment.

    great-looking bike - very classy...

But there are some staggeringly inane comments on here relating to the chainset and cassette gearing. Just ignore the monkeys and ride.. ;)

You may have been rich before and poor after, but at least you'll have a smile on your face. 8) Just spare a thought for us poor saps who could only stretch to an FP5. If I was to justify my bike purchases on performance I might have just stretched to an FP3.

The latin writing on the Dogma says - "He who is, is. He who is not, seeks (or perseveres)."
