Teaser trailer! Should have the bike complete by next weekend. Got a lot on and waiting on the last pieces of the puzzle. Full Dura Ace front and back, coupled with Italian brillance has led me to create a new word; JITALIAN brilliance. More to follow.

lovely bike, but i cant help but wonder why it seems that everyone is outfitting dogma's with DA. Prince's were ALWAYS italian bikes, now dogmas are DA? i dont understand.

as lovely as super record is, it's not me. It's too bling. I love the cold dystopian look of Dura Ace and I'm a big fan of it's pro spin off kit. To me the whole thing just works for me.

Personally I don't buy into the Dogma (see what I did there) of brand on brand by Country of origin but respect the fact others are....

Either way this bike rings big bells....

    Pete,

Like hopper1, I hate you!

But this helps with my Prince of Spain ambition... "well bristolpete on BikeRadar got the Dogma and the Prince of Spain is cheaper..."

I can't wait to see pics of the finished bike!

Thanks all - rich or poor ? Permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V or perhaps even Pete.

    Poor.

Occasionally I do ride over with the Severn Road Club. I should do more as my Mum is Welsh from a place called Lower Cwm Trch in real Wales, not English Wales, ergo Newport :D

yeah took a long hard look but preferred this. Bob is too black - I think all the tones work well with this petrol colour. As for campy, i see your point but I like closed drive trains over the classic style. However I did love the campy shifters.

That speech is almost as indulgent as the bike.

Either you are a very good rider, or very narcissistic? Or, both.

And it would be better with SRAM red. Or Di2. But, that's my opinion. As for dystopion, I really don't follow what you mean. Clinical, maybe?

the speech is pure copy and paste. narcissistic? No I enjoy my life - nothing wrong with that. And yes, I am a strong cyclist.

Cool colour bike, looking forward to the finished pics.

Re the groupset, I'm with you on the dura ace. The 7800 I've put on my new bike is nice and understated and the performance is utterly faultless. Put 35 miles in last night round London and it didn't skip a beat. Front mech is something else. I can't get the SRAM off my other bike fast enough in favour of trying the 7900.
