Looks beefy with those lyriks on it!0 -
Cheers - it is beefy all right and weighs a tonne LOL.....
Just pissed off about the thread not being chased on the rear mech hanger... I take it yours was OK....
There is ALWAYS something to stump me on a build.

Avoid 07 2-step Lyriks - they were the ones with problems0 -

After the initial problem was fixed post 08 they (2steps) are fine, obviously like any given product you have a bad one here and there, but overall they are great - don't believe the hype.0 -

That's looking sweet....you're not helping with my craving for building another bike! Or my craving for a hardcore HT. Damn you!Santa Cruz Chameleon

update: Liam has kindly lent me an M10x1.0 tap to chase the gear hanger threads out. SO when that gets here, I can do that then finish it off and take it out/bed it in and what's more....
GET HER DIRTY!!!
And yes, pics shall be provided of the historic event and I shall make an entry into Wikipedia!0 -
I just used a stanley knife to cut the 1st bit of the paint off the threads, then did half turn in, undo, half turn in etc etc till i was through. Also had to do the same for the isg05 mount.0

Ill let you know, when to get in touch
I didnt even think of doing what you did - oh well, I have the tap now..... this is the problem with 'painted' steel hangers as opposed to allu replaceables, I would be riding it by now otherwise..0 -
*cough* none of these problems with my painted steel 456 *cough*

Haha, i didn't see it as a problem, been out on my BFe loads!0 -
(wow first post)
Hello BFe owners! That's looking lovely by the way.
I'm just about ready to ride mine propery (had my seatpost shimmed with duct tape  ) I was terrified it was looking too big, especially with the 160 forks on so just had to try it out.
Anyone else riding a medium at around 6'? Mine is not strictly for jumping, more all-round riding like my Hustler.

I dont fecking believe it... CRC have sent me Goodridge BRAKE set and not the gear set.
Means yet again, that another weekend has gone by without me completing this......
Oh but they managed to send the right powerlinks through :roll:0 -

Front and Rear mechs fitted, and a 'splash the cash' CRC protector.....
Fun and games tapping the hanger out (see workshop and tech) but it's in now.
Just have to wait for my gear cables to turn up then good to go!!!!0 -
