I think I've found mine:
Sugar Puffs.
Don't laugh. Well okay, but snigger quietly...
The thing is I find that the honey, being a mono-sacchiride gets into the blood stream much more quickly and I'm cycling in on a sugar rush 8)
I swear I found the ride in easier today. Okay there was no wind whatsoever but I just cruised in and as noted in the average speed thread went from 14 to 15.75 mph average.
Hmmmm.....

Crumpets do rock but it has to be porridge.
It's all about the glycaemic index, your sugar rush from your puffs is probably over by the end of the drive KB.0 -
I **need** the sugar hit in the morning :P
I'm so damn' unfit at the moment that any little extra erg of energy is a great help and have a few sugar molecules floating around makes all the difference.Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

You get time in the morning for such things
I'm tempted to do 5 miles on an empty stomach apart from a cuppa then hit Wetherspoons for a Farmhouse brekkie at 7:30 with a pint of lager.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
