if it came with a float r, id be tempted to fit one of those. if a version of it came with a more adjustable shock, id get one of those instead.
i like adjustable stuff.0 -

Made a balls up with new chainset for cannondale, one that has required a new BB, new front mech and new cable(s)

It'll add an extra 300g to the bike, but apparently the performance increase is well worth it. For the price, it had bIoody well better be.
Arrived this morning via special delivery next day.
Yet more spectacular service from Bionicon UK
Now just ordered some Stendec Fork Grease and some Brunox Deo Fork Lube.
Not sure if the latter will be any better than Epic Ride, which is what I use now, but it's only a few quid and is supposed to be ideal for forks, shocks and dropper posts. Worth a try.0 -

I forgot about this thread. I've recently ordered 4 sets of Superstar kevlar brake pads which arrived today with haribo. Last week i got my local Leisure Lakes to order in a Topeak Mini 20 pro multi tool so i've got to collect that tomorrow morning.
And what I ordered last night:
Type H mech hanger, a measily £6
Muc Off Disc Brake Cleaner £5.50
Mucky Nutz Emergency Mech Hanger 2.0 £9 including postage0 -
Frame and forks arrived this morning, forks are surprisingly light and the frame looks better in the flesh, and as always the bare carbon bits look nice so I'll be ordering that pimp DT Swiss carbon rear shock with remote lock out on Monday. Other things to order / buy tomorrow is front brake adapter and a 31•6 seatpost0

A 2002 Kona Caldera frame in mint condition, 2nd hand obviously, but a little 'budget' project to give me something to do over the next few weeks.
Going to be an uber budget build, bouncy front end and most importantly... cheap!0 -

this will keep the other half happy and my life quiet!
this arrived over the weekend, and for £40 is a quality bag, a bit of bubble wrap and i would happily stick this on a plane!
without the bubble wrap, would be good to put the bike in after a ride if you're precious about the inside of your car!0 -
