During The Great Blackout I ordered
Some black alu bottle cage bolts for the Mmmbop
Some black alu countersunk bolts to replace the cableguide bolts on the Bop- might regret this!
So that's a mighty 34 grams saved
Also a set of Renthal kevlar grips to try on it and some Terror Pins to stick in its Nanos and see if that works.Uncompromising extremist0 -
erm, I think I might be losing touch with reality a little bit on my Shocker build (although it is supposed to be my dream build!)
Despite having a brand new DHX 5.0 on it, I've just gone and bought one of these. Comes with a nice titanium spring too.
Apparently the best rear shock on the market (so it bloody well should be for the price!) and has some gold detail which will tie in nicely with the rest of the touches (honestly, I didn't just pick it for the gold barrel!!!!)

Rockshox Reverb, with MMX mount (using X9 shifters) in 420mm drop flavour.
Had the Joplin mounted on the left, so might take a while to get used to it being on the right.

Yeh, on back order from CRC, Bike won't be here until the back end of March so no great rush.
UK Bike Store are expecting everything apart from 30.9 x 420mm in tomorrow if that's any use to you.0 -
I have some CRC vouchers so think I'll get it on back order too. The MMX version can be used as standard too can't it? As I want to use it upside down on the left hand side (lever/button under the bars) which a few people seem top be doing.0

Remember if you're going through CRC to use one of the cashback websites, you'll get 4% back on your order.Uncompromising extremist0

We actualy get a CRC discount though a site at work so I'll be using that. Works the same way as the cashback websites though, so sadly, I can't use both :P
CraigXXL - No idea mate sorry. Mine will be on the RHS with an SRAM shifter.
Hoping the lever (button) is a little more intuitive than the Joplin one as about the only issue I found with my jop (other than the cable freezing in deepest winter) was that the lever was difficult to get in a good place.0 -

Any recommendations?
CWNT, Looking at images of the lever it's just sliding threaded washer insert inside the clamp that allows you to screw other bits into so just remove the washer job done.0 -
Well... I use Topcashback but I have no idea if they're the best, I just went to them because of the ridiculous AA discounts (£20 off a £28 sub!). 4% off at Wiggle and CRC. It does look like a scam but I've had the cash back in my account so it works.
Oh OK I've been meaning to do this for a while, here is some SPAM. On Singletrackworld is a guy called Mark Fradgely, aka Bullheart, aka Petesgaff, who is collecting a ridiculous amount of money for the Sarcoma Trust, full story here:
http://www.justgiving.com/TeamBullheart
So, free money can be created by anyone who signs up to Topcashback using this link:
http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/northwind/?s=2
If you earn more than £5 cashback, I get £5 referral fee, which I'll donate to Bullheart's Justgiving.Uncompromising extremist0 -

Dude, I'm considering one of those for my Tracer2 build. What makes it even worse is I just bought this sweet Bullit frame and Totem fork.
ha ha, seems we both have the same debit card twinges
i'll let you know how the CCDB rides once the Shocker is finished. Although, everyone I spoke to who has one (more or less all of my mates in BC it seems!) said stuff and the lines of "just buy it, seriously, nothing comes close".
those lads all ride 5 days a week for 5 months of the year all over BC, so I trust their judgment! 8)0 -

I have the one up(the capo) and it's great, some great features and a great all rounder. I also got mine for a pretty good price, £50 from wiggle when crc had it for £60 and everywhere else it was £700 -
Yeah i thought it was a good deal. Since found an ebay seller doing them for £29.99 + postage, so still saved a few squid. Got it for when the nomad is a bit too big.0

Just couldn't pass up on this deal any longer.
Carbon 456 with white graphics, smoothie mixer headset, on one dh bar and glow in the dark grips.
And a nice gold on one ultra light stem to go with it.
More bits to come laterNever argue with an idiot, he'll only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.0 -

I likey likey, carbon 456. I want one built up with u turn revs, double and bash and a reverb. Shimano XTR Trail brakes and hope hubs with stans flows rims. It'd be a red themed build with the red decals or a black and gold one with the white decals. It'll never happen though, too much money0

Ohhhhhhhhh yas!
Being broken down and crated up as we speak by the guys at Walkers Cycles who also threw in a pair of Endura Humvee shorts with liners
Also cancelled my order for the reverb (too big for the edison) and ordered a KS i7 from Wiggle:
Have returned the stuff previously ordered from SuperStar to be replaced with the following:
i7 Colour/Remote Upgrade Kit - Green
Nano Through Pedals in Gunmetal Grey with Green pins
Grey SS grips with Lime lockrings and bar ends
Superstar balance seatclamp - lime
With all this lime, I feel I should order some string and a jar of liver too.0
