Have you heard of an amazing new invention called long sleeves? They're like short sleeves, but longer. If the long sleeves are too long you can get 3/4 sleeves too!! Cutting edge stuff.

Yes, I have some of them thanks. They do long trousers too, for when you get old enough for them...

My old geography teacher had sleeves like that on his blazer kowalski.

I guess there is a reason crc are knocking so much of them....they can't sell them.

Haven't had that for years. Ed Oxleys doesn't seem to do his riding any harm though, lol.

Who cares. At the end of the day no cycling gear is going to win any style awards, lol. Loads of folk love their Shimano AM41s, for example, despite the fact that they make them look like a special needs kid going to play golf.

All the better for me then.

  • Just won this on eBay, £18. Its a 2000 Spesh P3. Im gonna whack a whole bunch of spares on it, and put it straight up for sale. Ill buy the cheapest headset i can find brand new, which will come to like £4. I have the rest. Should make a healthy profit.

  • Brand new 34T Works Components chainring for the Canyon. Got it from ebay for a few quid less than going direct, and hopefully it should be here early next week instead of waiting 2 weeks for Works to send one out!

Hopefully, the chainring + my bottom guide should be enough to keep the chain in place. The Canyon has a silly iscg tab mounting bracket so I would need to lose my granny ring tabs if I need to use a guide other than the Canyon one, which is only a bottom roller!

looking at that office and how bare it is I reckon you won't be doing much work and with all that space it would be rude not to build it

No, tis ht2 external, but I cant run a bb mount because of the bb shell and how the Canyon guide is mounted and I can't use a seat tube one because of the pivot!

I'm hoping that good chain tension and the Canyon guide will be enough, going to try it without a bash too.

um...... just put a bid in on EBay for a Hammerschmidt crank set then found out you need them little tabby things to mount it on which the Carbine doesn't have. Never even crossed my mind, so trying to retract the bid, otherwise might have to buy a bike to put it on.

My pedals arrived today. They are not the pedals pictured on CRC's site. I suspected it was too good a deal to be true, guess they got their pictures mixed up. Hey ho, back they shall go.
