XT Chain from Merlin at the bargain price of £18

The KMC X10SL I put on there lasted just 3 months. I'm hoping this one fares better (it was half the price, so anything over 6 weeks is fine lol)

Er... Why were you using a 10 speed chain? It's obviously not going to last as well...

Elixir 5s arrived today. Yes, I am impressed, they're sealed retail packaging with Torx wrench and the front 203mm brake even has a Post (and IS) mount! Just what the RS Revelations need.
Not bad for £170 for front and rear. Happy days!

It was lighter than a 9sp (not really a massive issue), but I'd read on here somewhere that they are supposedly stronger than the 9sp ones too. Clearly though, I heard wrong.

Today was some little odds and sods from Swinntertons @ Cannock. Got some Fenwicks degreaser/disk cleaner. Got some strange looks from staff and customers when I sprayed a little into the cap and sniffed it at the shop. Must have looked like a "huffer" trying to fin his next chemical romance
Also bought some spare brake pins as both the Codes and Elixirs use them.

Ditto, i had an annoying stiff link all the day on my last ride and I couldn't free it up so I thought sod it, new chain, although I did make the rash decision to buy it from swinnertons at 36 quid, then found it for much less, so now gotta take it back and plead incompetence

I know I ordered them a while ago, but my Sombrio Cartel gloves arrived the other day and I gave them a proper test yesterday.

Oh my days! They are fan-bIoody-tastic!

EASILY the most comfy pair of gloves I've ever owned.

For anyone currently looking for a new set of gloves, they are only a tenner at Evans (only in Large though), you'd be a FOOL to buy anything else!

I just splashed out on some roof bars and cycle carriers for my new car.... £230 lighter! All because it has a spoiler and can't put my rear carrier on it!

...And to think I could have gone out and bought a pair of Hope M4's which are next on my shopping list!

I have taken the plunge and ordered Tora 318s from eBay, fingers crossed it will all go OK, bit nervous about this :? (Not sure if I should trust eBay)

Hoping that these will sit better with me than the Tora SL coils I bought and stuck on the wifes bike.
