Clever...still not arrived today though, Scottish bank holiday, is there no post service on a bank holiday?
Mcgee - got it from wiggle, not even thought about Amazon to be honest.0 -
Always worth checking Amazon, even for the weirdest things. I've even bought some industrial network infrastructure supplies from them, in the same order as a DVD and some socks. Mental shop. Just... mental.
There's no post on English bank holidays, for sure, but I'm not sure if the separate Welsh and Scottish ones have service or not. Although, I think I read somewhere about some postal strike, maybe that's delayed things.0 -
I don't think I have ever used Amazon, is it just an online shop? Or is it like eBay where individuals sell stuff?
It might turn up today, it should really, although I didn't get an e-mail saying order has been dispatched yet, if not today I'll e-mail them n see whats what0 -
Amazon is an online store, but it also has it's marketplace, which means small independents (who actually DO pay taxes, grumble) can trade. That's why there's a "sold by Amazon" or "sold by some other company" thing.
Incidentally, all those things in that weird order of mine came from Amazon themselves.
I can't believe you've never used them. They're the 8th wonder of the world, as Stephen Fry once said0 -

Could save me some weight for trail riding if it works as good as reviews suggest
Same here. I was hanging on for the 30t to come back in stock, but got impatient.
32t has gone back, unopened, as the 30t are now back in stock in some places.
I now have a 30t in black, I've also just got a KMC X10 chain and new XT Cassette, so everything can wear at the same rate.0 -

Nope. The new website is still a bit 'buggy', and prone to more crashes than Jason Plato. How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Almost everything else i need to finish the Chucker build:
Red "Crank Candy" bar grips
Clarks Outer cable, 6 meters
Shimano Altus 8 speed shifter(Budget, i know...)
Red Lizard Skins chainstay protector
Red Anodized cable ferrules x2 sets, because i use brake outer for gears aswell.
6x Red Anodized M6 bolts for calipers and mounts
180mm Shimano rear caliper mount/adapter
Now all thats left is the front rotor and mount, and a decent fork. Both of which i think i have sorted and am awaiting replies for.0 -
pffft....email from wiggle saying they have a backlog of orders, should be sent out today, dunno if anyone else is having delays from them but their backlog is the reason.....0

SLX 2x10 groupset & brakes.
Sooooooooooooo, instead of selling the bike I don't use, I decided to spend another £400 upgrading it.
Tbf, it started off with me just planning to buy a shadow+ mech (I've got shifters in the parts bin), then......well.... it all escalated quickly.
Now the plan is to move all the X9 stuff from the bionicobvious over to the rockhopper. I'll be using the new SLX chainset on the rockhopper as I've already got an XT chainset on the bionicon.
Bionicon will be kept rigid, and is being used in the end2end in a couple of weeks.
Also purchased some tubes, some gear outers (I like to run full-lengths) and some new tyre levers to replace the one I snapped trying to seat the racing ralphs the other month.0 -
