I hope they've changed the polymer on the MRP so that sunlight and lube don't make it brittle.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Mum bought me an Alex DH22 rear wheel since i did really well in my charity ride. Apparently if i do hard revision for the whole week ill get the front wheel too! Not bad at all. + they were 50% off on eBay!0

day of win and a tiny bit of fail.....
called to go pick up my new glasses..... 8) awesomeness...
get home... wheels and new cassette waiting at the door
put cassette on wheels and tighten lockring up hand tight...... nearly there
go to fully tighten..... kick box and loosen a tiny spacer required for 9 speed cassette
unable to loosen lockring as i dont have my chain whip.... :x many expletives later and an hour of experimenting with other potential chain whips..... i have to go throw myself on the mercy of the LBS to see if i can borrow theirs for a second..... they are a nice bunch so i am hopeful.... helps they are expats too..... ( went in for an allen key one day..... came out with two free and a huge baggie of lithium grease..... found out it pays to chat )It's a boy , It's a boy , I Shouted Running Into The Street With Tears Running Down My Face.....

Just ordered for the Blender:
(Probably not suitable for DH at all, but if they survive Saturday, I'll be impressed)
4 Kevlar pads, for Saturday (though I have just received my CRC order, and forgotten that I'd ordered some Clarks ones doh! Think I'll probably send them back)
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
