I had a pair of those. They lasted half of 1 ride. The material is SO thin, it's absolutely useless if it comes into contact with anything other than your skin. Worst £40 I ever spent.
Hope you have better luck with them.0 -
Middleburn 24t and 36t hard coat chainrings and bash. I've currently got a 32t as my biggest ring and it is too small.0

Looking forward to giving it a test (perhaps) on Boxing day.

I couldn't work out what the fuss was, same with Rapha. Went back to DHB and Gore sale stuff.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Poor waterproof shorts. Thanks for that was looking at them. MBR gave them 9\10I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work!0 -
Yeh, they scored really well on the test on Bikeradar too. Tbh, they'd be fine, just as long as you make sure you NEVER fall off when wearing them. I found that not only did they tear simply through you looking at them wrong, but the tape round the crotch started coming unstuck, meaning my junk was getting wet. Must have really betty swollocks
On a similar note, I was out today in my new waterproof Santini bib, and it seems to be made of magic.
The material doesn't FEEL like it should be waterproof, they just feel like regular winter lycra, but the deluge I encountered mid-ride proved otherwise. I have absolutely no idea how it works, but it does.
They're SO comfy too. Have the best pad of any of my padded shorts and are LOVELY and warm without being sweaty. I am actually seriously considering buying another couple of pairs. I blame wiggle!0 -

Agreed, I am mainly a roady now, but I still stay true to wearing baggies over the top of the lycra. The world is not quite ready to see that yet.0 -
