No & yes, but no
The doctors don't keep a record of your blood group, the hospital do, but good luck trying to get it out of them, you can give them £25 for a test however and they will tell you.... I am registering as a blood donor but that takes time and I needed the info for something i was doing so I bought a test kit for £5 - took 10 minutes: O+ job done.0 -

That's because everyone's keeping quiet about it or you're not looking hard enough
Me and a mate have both had the internal cable snap on us and had to send it back for warranty, good excuse for me since it was always really sticky when it got wet but I didn't want to send it back for that. I got mine from bike-discount and they're telling me it could be another 6 weeks before I get it back It's lovely when it works though, just put a zip tie around the red KS part where the cable goes, another mate has had his pop off mid ride.0 -

Cracked my rear wheel on the downhill bike so thought i'd try some superstar DHX wheels and for the price I'm really surprised at how good quality they are, also ordered a SRAM pg950 11-28 cassette that is super shiney. May order a ti rear spring pretty soon aswellWhat if your dreams and fears existed in the same place? What if to get to heaven, you had to brave hell? What if everything you've ever wanted cost you everything you've ever achieved? Would you still go there?0

They are comfy glasses but they steam up worse than any other glasses I've ever had with the strap on and without the strap they fall off quite easily, not trying to poo poo your purchase, just making you aware, id hate for you to come dopw a fast flowing downhill and crash into a diguarded nurse corpse0 -

Monseur Cat, Surely it would of been cheaper to by a new bike after that lot?0

Probably
I have toyed with the idea many times, however I decided the plan is to "roadify" this one a bit more, but with parts that also work off-road. So when I want to, I can just swap the tyres for some XC ones and maybe stick the sus forks back on there (after I've stripped them down and serviced them) and I'm on my way.
I do still want a roady, but figured I may as well wait until I'm in a position to drop a grand or 2 on one and do it properly.
Besides, it's all really good value stuff (superstar wheelset was only £150 for example), after everything it's going to owe me about £600 and I'll have 2 forks, 2 wheelsets, spare shifters, spare chainset, bars, stem etc. So it's still pretty good value imho.0 -
Shimano Deore M590 Triple Chainset
26-36-48
FSA XC-190 Stem - 110mm
Shimano RT 31 Road Shoes
Shimano R540 Road Pedals
PG970 Cassette 11-32
Topeak Aero Wedge Saddle Bag
SuperStar inline seatpost, 400mm, black
Also:
Shimano HG93 chain
SRAM powerlinks (9sp x3)
Glueless tube patches
Couple of clarks polycarbonate bottle cages
Couple of CRC bottles
Right, that's it now, I've pretty much replaced every single item on the rockhopper apart from the frame. DOH!
Oh, and the brakes.
On the bright side, the rockhopper should now be properly roadified. And I'm hoping for sub 20lb with pedals.0 -
A pair of Michelin Primacy HP3 215/55 16s at an eye popping £250. I'm sick of Battlewagon II's rear end sliding around on the 'Autogrip' cheap chinese rubber.
And just to keep up with the roadies, a set of Conti GP4000S and a pair of Shimano SH-R087W white/black.
EDIT - cancelled the shoes as I remembered that Shimano come up tiny. Might order a pair of Giro's instead.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Pair of shimano m087g mtb spd's. used them twice so far and very impressed.
And hopefully pick up my set of Rockshox Reba RLT's today! Can't wait to fit them. Also if I manage to get my bike back from its service I shall be making a custome built timber service stand for it.0 -
DT Swiss RWS X-12 QR skewer for the Canyon.
My standard Syntace one has cracked so the wheel has a wobble, and its annoying having to use an allen key to take it off!0
