Well I thought about it for a long time and I'm going to give them a try whilst looking for a 2nd hand front wheel with 20mm axle then a cheap set of 36 floats and swap around.
I reckon that the CTD will prove useful in the Peaks where I normally ride where most of the time you're peddling uphill!!I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

Postman has just delivered my Sky Ray King light which very nearly melted a hole in the wall when I switched it on :shock:
Also got some blingy pins for my pedals which my shins won't thank me for but they look sweeeeeet and we all know that they'll make me more streamlined and go faster...Very funny Scotty, now beam me down my clothes.0 -

Why not the trustfire 3t6, if I may ask?
That has 3 t6 leds too, but the barrel is not too much thicker than a 501b or similar, so it fits in a standard bike torch mount.0 -

Ahh it was the length, the trustfire is almost 30cm long :shock:
