    My Anthem :D

For what I ride it's perfect - has never been out of its depth at the Welsh trail centres and isn't overkill for local riding.

I don't really have to get rid of my hardtail though do I? :(

I would go for something like the Lapierre Zesty 314. I think they are great bikes which can be used as an all rounder. May not be brilliant on all surfaces but when it matters - this bike definitely delivers!

Why would you limit yourself to one though? I would find it very difficult to choose just one.

Heart says a Ti456 with everything or brain says an Anthem X with everything.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Who are you calling inbred?

    +1
  • Hmmm, it's easy to answer this question as I, like many others, have only one bike.

Hampshire isn't particularly rocky, and not very steep. There is nothing here that will remain unrideable, even the climbs, but lots will be challenging and entertaining; something that might be missing with a full geared FS. With my bike I get a fast rolling, very quick up and quick down, strong bike that comes in at under 25lbs and at a reasonable price. One day I might add some suspension up front, but don't seem to need it yet. At the moment I enjoy picking my lines, concentrating a little more and flicking a very light bike around.

So One On Inbred 29er singlespeed with carbon forks. Job done.
Proved by testing to be faster than a badger.

If for some unknown reason you were only able to have 1 bike what would it be?

A hardcore hard tail, short travel full suss, long travel full suss or even a rigid? models of bikes will help :D

Hands down...hardcore titanium hardtail. Only question would be 6er or 9er.

My pre-Trek Klein Pulse - When Klein were, actually probably still are, the most beautiful bikes on the planet! When I raced in 95 it was 21.5lb XC machine with the first Specialized RockShox Judys in the UK.

See my signature  I love this bike. It's fantastic. I've been looking out on e-bay for another frame so I can start another rebuild project. I want to own a 'fleet' of Isis/Joker/Distance bikes. My goal is to open a museum dedicated to Ellsworth's single pivot full suss master piece :D
