Interesting to think about which teams are in the Tour invite slots, on current performance.
Vacan and Saur in, BMC out, IMO.
id have to agree on that point, so would your 6 be garmin, cervelo, katysha, sky, saur and vaconsoleil? with no rs? thats what id go for0 -

But WC who could win a grand tour counts for a lot more than performances in Feb / March.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Stannard. Age 22. Not looking at this photo he isn't. Not exactly cherubic like Haussler

He is certainly freezing...his eyes and possibly his whole face are swollen somewhat.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Pretty insightful report of the back of the race today: http://www.sporza.be/cm/sporza/videozon ... n/1.727410
Especially the look in the eyes of Bennati when the bus leaves without him....
Matthew Hayman doesn't look/sound his best either (talking in fluent and almost accentless Dutch BTW 8) )0 -
I was out in conditions like that for only 60 miles earlier today and my hands and feet were as painful as I've ever experienced, and was close to phonign home for a lift - I had to stop a few times to take the gloves off and warm my hands in my 'pits so I really sympathise with how the riders obviously felt. A really nasty day to be out for 150 miles. Stannard looked like he needed a warm bath pronto - really he should have been away from the media tent and been got warmed up asap in the Sky superbus.0

This has been a top spoiler tread! Was out on my bike yesterday, missed the race and knew nothing about results until I came into work this morning. I read the first 7 pages and it just got more exciting with brutal weather & as it got towards the end with Stannard dropping off, getting back on, off again. Great stuff!
Well done to all who contributed!0 -
Think only 26 classed as finished !0

Sky are great, Sky are wonderful, Sky foreigners are British really.
Get your prayer mat out and worship at Brailford's tactical genius, you forum loonies.
Just practicing for later.
You forgot the "Sky don't attack or make anything happen" bit though, surely you need balance as there's loons on both sides0
