I know this isn't Flanders or Roubaix but still it is pretty incredible that the lead has opened up so much...where was the panache, the courage, the power, the will, the mental fortitude, the hardiness to try and bridge the gap. I hope those three now put 10mins into the rest and Stannard wins from a 2km solo do or die effort.

Reckon Thor wanted to climb off and Bobby J told him to carry on. Prize money for 5th, innit.

Interesting three riders. Traksel is the fasted, but Flens and Stannard both have a good 1k TT...
    Does Stannard speak Dutch?
  • Is Traksel the guy who started out as a sprinter, for CSC I think, but then lost all kinds of form?

  • If Traksel was cooked I doubt he would have closed that gap. I hope the wheelsucker gets third. Been a pro for longest so learnt all the acting skills to feign tiredness...
