    Stannard shouldn't have tried to attack as many times as he did. He was obviously smoked and attacking four or five times wasn't a good idea...he should have probably waited until last 2km and gone for one all out effort.

    Been out, so just caught the end of the live feed. Looked like a great ride in the conditions by the three out front. Great win for Traksel and Vacansoleil.

    Good ride for Stannard too. At 22 maybe one to watch in the cobbled spring classics in the next few years with a bit more experience?

    It is definitely better than the other one which made me shiver. This one is a little bonkers for my liking...!

    I hope Spilak is ok...he got hit by a car today in GP Lugano which got onto the course. Bloody inept drivers. Much of the field withdrew:
