    Just made the apple and raisin energy bars from the first post. Not sure whether I did anything wrong but they came out quite rubbery and smell of farts! My husband has christened them fart cakes!!
    Was I supposed to whisk the egg whites beforehand? Thanks for the recipes anyway!

    Had trouble with the bars too, really rubbery and tasted quite bland; gave them to the birds who loved them :lol: Will try again later.

    well they should give you a few more watts of boost when eaten on the go :lol:

    Made some more of the muffins tonight with half a banana and a load of blueberries.

    Came out a treat and I'm looking forward to the weekend ride more now...;-)

    made the banana muffins yesterday & then took them on me ride.lovely,went down well & were easy to digest .
    i intend to make a batch next time & was wondering if you know if they would freeze ok ?

    Hey i`m glad you like :D I haven`t tryed freezing them ??

    I`m just working on a new recipe with organic jumbo oats maple syrup and pecan nuts etc.If and when they taste right i will post up the recipe.Cheers.

    The muffins and apple/cinnamon bars look interesting.

    Do you know how long they would last if kept in the fridge?
