Cheers for this; I was looking for recipes earlier. Be a lot cheaper than those bars from the bike shop, which do tend to taste like wet socks (yes I tried).http://www.youtube.com/user/Eurobunneh - My Youtube channel.0

Do you melt the butter first and pour into the bowl as a liquid, or just leave it as it is?0 -

You could use Chocolate and Other stuff instead of bananas but i have`nt got any nutritional values on that.but Im sure you could perfect the taste to just how you like them.0 -

Your cooking recipes may make me a hit with the ladies! Same here. Made some last night and they came out well..perfect consistancy. I think I'll try some different fillings next time though such as blueberries or raisens.

Look forward to them.
Might try using your muffins on my sportives as they're soft enough to eat on the go without much effort. They'll make a change from my own flapjacks and Mule/Clif bars/fig rolls..0 -
Go for it !! i use them out on my bike they hit the spot just nice.I hope they put the fire back in your ride.0

Ate a couple of them today on a 70 miler and all went well. They're really easy to eat on the go and did the job nicely. What are they, about 200 kcal each?0 -
About 160-170 calories per muffin. And they are much tastier than those bars you can buy.0

Only thing is the Mules and Clifs are more calories per bar, which is why I prefer them on Sportives. 170 calories just isn't enough. You're right though, they are cracking and I'm going to experiment with more recipes this week, i,e, blueberry's etc.0
