    Just measured myself:
22" at top of thigh 19"round the quad
Just out of interest I put my legs together and measured around them both: 33". That's 4" more than my waist!

[Edit] I might return to this thread later in the year to see if anything's changed.

Are you sure that weight's right? Just over 8 stone at 6'!!

I used to be just under 70kg at 6' 1" and was seriously skinny, can't imagine being nearly 3 stone lighter.

    *Weighs self*

    Yep, 114 pounds.

I never put on weight, and probably have very light bones.

Do you get blown off your bike much? Out of interest how old are you? I could never put on weight until my mid 20's and since then it has gone on big style, losing it's the problem now

I'm simillar, 6' and 65kg (no idea where I'd lose 13kg from though), and I eat like a horse! I'm hoping my metabolism keeps going at a million mph!

Exactly, when I was 70kg I had all the "poke your tongue out and you'll look like a zip" or "if you were wearing boots you'd look like a golf club" gags. I'm fairly wide across the shoulders but the thought of being 18kg lighter is incredible. Good for clmbing though.

Just re-weighed myself, about 53kg. I don't know why I weigh so little, I eat alot, I exercise regularly. I'm hoping it'll give me an advantage when it comes to the hills.

Andy came out on one of my hilly rides and I can confirm that (a) He is very skinny and (b) He did ride up hills very quickly, faster than he went down them in fact! Actually, that was because it was a very cold day and he didn't have any body fat to keep him warm so he was riding slowly on the descents to minimise windchill.

I'm just a little taller than him but nearly twice his weight! When I was at my skinniest ever with all my ribs sticking out, sunken eyes, and pipe-cleaner arms and legs I was still 10st 10 lbs. I can't imagine me being 2.5 stone lighter than that and still being capable of riding a bike!

PS My thighs are 26" too! I'm not that fit at the moment so there is more fat than usual and less muscle. I reckon they'd still be about 26" when I'm fit but a leaner composition.

It's not that bad. I'm 63.5kg, and just slightly shorter. It's a pretty sexy weight to be at. :)

I'm sure some of the pros (climbers) have a lower weight despite being the same height. :?

32" at the biggest part........a mixture of american football and being a bit of a fatty. Tipping the scales at 20st, that's what happens when you stop sport due to an injury but keep eating like a sportsman! big mistake!

I'll let you know what it is when I get back to a more reasonable weight!

6' and 65kgs is possible - did that 3ish years ago after I dislocated a shoulder and lost loads of upper body mass - pretty skinny though.

If it helps, I was 102kg on boxing day and now 94kg from watchging what I eat and due to workload I can't ride much till July where I will cranking it down to 77kg-Sept?

6ft 1 186cm 94kg and goal of 77kg then serious training can begin.

My moobs have firmed up and I've gone from 40 to a size 34 waist but still have long way to go.

I still love hills and training hard at them on commutes at 94kg easily and wonder what 77kg will feel like.

What what my feet will look like? my best friend has not been affected
