Viner Magnifica - advice

  • I should be able to confirm a real-world weight for a 58cm frame

I reckon from Viner experience that it will weight more than you think, but ride better than you imagine.

It's unrealistic for me be to be weight concious over the frame because
    a) I'm a big guy and
    b) my technique doesn't favour light weight.

Having said that, I've changed my eating habits and getting close to having lost £1,000 of frame, carbon bottle cage, (insert favourite marketing gimick here..) of weight in the last few months. :D
  • simonaspinall - you are not wrong re Racescene/Casati - I took delivery of a Casati Laser Pui just before Xmas (so haven't ridden it much yet) via Racescene.

They are top geezers - v helpfull and friendly (for northerners  ) and I can't recommend the service they provide highly enough.

The Laser is v-smooth and suprisingly light (steel).

    Get a Casati.

    Just got my Perfecta 09.
On the frame, is written "made exclusively in Italy"

I would suppose it means no part whatsoever is made anywhere else...

Not that it would change how much I love it anyway :P

  • Thought I would post a feedback from a customer who has just received his Magnifica frame with a custom paint finish.

VERY pleased with my colour choice and the factory for great positioning of all decals it to my eyes looks great.
Will send pics of bike when finished.
