Technically cheating but I'd have to say the Taylor Swift discography at the moment!

Definitely good shouts on the Little Boots and Biffy Clyro albums though. Honourable mention to Lungs by Florence and the Machine though!

I've been listening to the Gaslight Anthem and Frank Turner today... Lovely. The latest Frank Turner album's a bit wobbly but the best songs are really damn good.

    Ahhh, Frank Turner!
Saw him in October, seeing him again in March.

    Can't wait, awesome live.

    Currently:

    Biffy - Only Revolutions
    Them Crooked Vultures
    Prodigy - Invaders Must Die
Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight (I know it's not proper metal and aimed at kids, but I like it!)

Also, strangely for me, two hip hop albums -
    Eminem - Relapse
Asher Roth - Asleep in the bread isle.
    Santa Cruz Chameleon

Ah come on now, how often are the best songs on the album chosen for a single? It's usually the ones they think will go down best on daytime radio.

  • Recently been listening to bits of Glasvegas and Gaslight Anthem, both very good...

But my wife is upstairs, so it's now:

Dan le Sac vs. Scroobious Pip - Angels.

Now that is a great album, bears listening to over and over again!

:D Who's moaning? I prefer to buy singles as opposed to albums. From my experience no matter how good an album is there's always one or two songs I don't like.

You must be in your 50's or thereabouts if you're refering to me as a kid :P

But if I must reccomend an album then it would have to be Amy Winehouse - Back to black

  • Dubstep Allstars vol 6 & 7 - both great
5 years of Hyperdub - also excellent

    Bigup!!!

If you like these you may also like anything by d-Bridge and Instra:mental which is super minimal d'nb meets dubstep. They've got a FabricLive CD out in the next couple of weeks which looks amazing.

Aside from that I've been enjoying Raekwon - Only Built for Cuban Linx II and revisiting Cypress Hill - Black Sunday which reminds me of my yoof.
