    Very nice, mate.
It's begging for a white seat, though!
Why the pink bar tape? :?
Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!
  • Yeh could probably do with a white saddle, but the black one does look good though, i just thought the pink bartape would look good so i chose it :)

    great pictures
how long did it take from ordering to delivery

been thinking of getting one myself
  • A great looking bike and like and107 I have been thinking of a Ribble too.
  • The bikes took 2 and a half weeks, which is pretty good considering christmas delivery takes a lot longer and i was told 3-4 weeks. It seems pretty good, but am annoyed because i can't ride it until tomorrow when my pedals come

i got a c2 white saddle on mine which fit in well i thought new wheels on the cards for mine and still tempted by a deda superzero seat post just alot of money

Pink may be cool but only on a bike that matches!

I think the tape is cool if you have one of these to match it 8)

Smart looking bike that. Far nicer than the Ribelle and Sportive. However the tape just looks wrong to me. Might look nice on pink Planet-X.
Red, white or, dare I say it, black. May as well order some in a couple of weeks when you buy new tyres.
  • You not a fan of the white tyres then?

I've done the white tyre thing and they looked great. Great until I actually used them and they went from brilliant white through off-white, then cream and eventually a sort of mustardy yellow. On a white frame (in my case with white rims as well) they eventually look utterly appalling.

Fortunately for me Wilier had foreseen all this and used paint that also eventually faded. Incidentally I've only used red or green tyres on the replacement frame and the paint so far hasn't faded. Coincidence?

I’m left with four brand new boxed white Vredestein Fortezza Tricomps I'll probably get a mate to sell on fleabay and two scruffy yellowish tyres I’ll eventually use on the turbo.
  • I knew that they'd get dirty, but i am hoping they go grey rather than yellow.

ordered mine a few days ago, luckily i needed a xxl so they had a frame in stock otherwise i would have had to wait until the end off february!, looks like it has been a popular seller.

  • I guess you're quite pleased you found some pictures, when i ordered mine i could only find some pictures taken in bad lighting conditions, which didn't do the bike any favours.

  • Can't wait for mine to arrive, Then I'll be able to look at it while I slowly lose my marbles on the turbo  preying for the f*****g snow to melt.

Whats the weight like - any numbers?
  • I know i'm having the same problem with mine, haven't even ridden it yet, just looking at it.
I can't really post the weight as i have nothing to weigh it with, only bathroom scales

weigh yourself on the scales, then weigh yourself again while lifting your bike up. Then subract one number from the other....
  • Why didn't i think of that?!

you have the skeleton brakes on yours which are a bit more expensive, was yours a special edition or from the standard bike builder?

  • Mines just arrived!! Looks smokin, XL frame white grip tape white tyres and white flight saddle. Ultegra, rs20's and with look keo carbons it weighs in at 17.4lb. Seat post (no name) / stem (deda quatro) Bars deda oversize, rigid vittoria tyres represent a massive and decent value weight skimping potential too! (Note to self: weight weenies are always skint, don't go there).

I hate the snow. Please transfer me to april immediately.
  • how could you get white bartape!, pink is the way forward
I think the seatpost (if you got the same as mine) is a CSN carbon seatpillar, it's starting to bug me now, not being able to ride it. I keep thinking about things which need checking on the bike, it is driving me mad
