I don't know if they have updated them but i had a few pairs of these a couple of years ago and broke a spoke on both pairs - i'm usually under 75kgsTashman said:

So if you want 25mm then just get from Merlin now. Merlin are more expensive for the other sizes though so Wiggle might be worth a look later today if you want another size.0 -
merlin also doing 2X 4000s2 plus 2 tubes for £62 for 25mm. these are now quite a rare commodity and might be worth getting a few in as spares if, like me, you generally wear down 2 rear tyres for each front one.
not a big deal but their tyres come without the retail boxes to "save on packaging".
obviously they are OEM but the tyre is the same. i received the above deal plus 1 5000 today from merlin, total cost £92.
you could always go to Halfords today, as I did yesterday and get the 5000s for £29.95 in full retail packaging through price matching.

I bought the VR40 from Merlin about 2 months ago at £699.
