Not 100% sure but I think if you have the Evans in store code you can get 20% off Ultegra 8000 making it near £500.

I got an e-mail saying 20% off clothing, shoes & helmets i.e. no mention of parts. Did you get a different offer?
Sorry just checked I was wrong

Was it a personalised code or one you can share?

I got both, do you want the one I can share?
    Yes please :)

That’s a bit long winded it’ll never fit in the code box
  • Found my email. If you click on the show images part it goes to a Web page then generates the codes...

Zondas down to £310, before BC and TCB, which would take it down to circa £275 I think.

Interesting. Do you know what the water resistance is like on these new Alpha jerseys?

I've got the old Alpha jersey to use for cold dry rides and looking to replace my Alpha jacket (which I ripped on an icy fall last year) to use for cold wet rides. The new Alpha jacket is £200 so wondering if I could get away with the new jersey for half the price.

I always found it very good, they've taped the seams on the shoulders so I'll use this for showery conditions, days when I get caught in rain etc. I'll report back soon

BTR. Does the item need to be in stock in the local store in order to use the code? Thought it was for use in store only?

Was tempted by the same top but not in stock in Bristol though can click and collect - can you use the code when paying online?

Inner zip on my mk1 Alpha jersey is now decidely suspect, wonder if i could angle for a ROS as a warranty replacement?
    Cheers

You can't use it online but you can go in, use the code, and get them to order it in!

How do I get hold of the code for Evans? If it can be shared would someone kindly PM me plz. I'm very tempted with an Alpha Jersey for price BTR got it for. I'd also need to phone the store first to ask for it to be delivered, although I may be going to Cardiff soon so can pop in store if need be
  • As above I would be keen for either the Evans or Sigma code.

    Thanks

Have gone for the jersey. Went with medium although am sometimes a small in Castelli. Thinking can go with a LS base layer and maybe a thin middle layer of necessary.

The guy in Evans was implying there were not many left in stock

All those wanting codes. Just call up their CS teams and ask for one. It worked from me last year with Evans and CRC. :D

Enormous bargains at Evans at the mo.

Just picked these up for the missus, for the grand sum of £4.99:

And this awesome Ale base layer (I have one already) for the paltry amount of £13.99

Re the Alpha ROS jerseys - I'm sure they are amazing, and an improvement on the original, or which I have one, but my word they have chosen some bland colour options no?
I appreciate it's a functional and practical garment, potentially for commuting, but for £100 or £200 I'd want some more vibrant options that those personally - unless Evans just have a limited portion of the range of course.

I quite like the anthracite but the blue is more visible, and cheaper.

I wanted the Wiggle Orange exclusive, but I'm not paying £80 more for it

I take it is just the jersey were the orange is exclusive to Wiggle as I picked up the jacket in orange from Westbrook last week

Castelli Meccanico jacket is £99.95 at Merlin, and it's a lovely item for casual wear.

I was sorely tempted to keep it, but the reality is that it's too similar to the £50 bargain Specialized 686 fat bike jacket (Yes they really are that niche......) I bought a few weeks ago, so reluctantly, back it went today.

The only negative against it I would say, is the fact it has no interior or napoleon pocket.

What's the fit like on these? I'm always a medium in Castelli but wondering if these are not as Italian sized as their normal kit
