All this is very well but has anyone got a link/voucher code for £2000 pounds off a new Colnago C60 frameset?

Gipiemme Roccia Equipe 700c/29 Inch Disc Wheelset pic Gipiemme Roccia Equipe 700c/29 Inch Disc Wheelset
    for ~£63 is silly cheap.
Fulcrum Racing Sport Disc 12mm bolt thru for £128 isn't bad.
Fulcrum Racing 5 Disc isn't bad for £240, shame the front is 15mm (while rear is 12x142).

There's also the odd frame, like a medium London Road for £64, plus the odd bike like the Holdsworth La Quelda Steel Single Speed Drop Bar Mens / Large / Team Orange pic Holdsworth La Quelda Steel Single Speed Drop Bar Mens / Large / for £320.

Look out for bundles, for instance you could buy the Vision 35 wheelset for £260, or buy the Brevet frame bundle with wheelset and a wheelbag for £250. Or the Pro Carbon bundle for £400.

Forgive my ignorance, but would any of these be worthwhile upgrades for my fulcrum racing seventysevens? The 77's are through bolt without a quick release.

My Cube has Racing77s and my understanding (perhaps wrong) is they are re-named Racing Sport DBs. From what I've seen looking around, improving on their ~1860g is very pricey eg. Campag Zonda C17s are ~£361 before 6% Topcashback at PBK. Is it worth getting a redundancy pair from PX for the nice price compared to other places?

I agree that the Brevet frame bundle looks to be a good deal, but the Vision Team 35 Comp Road Clincher Wheelset is currently £200 with a further £40 off with the code PRATOZW. http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/WPVIT35C/vision-team-35-comp-road-clincher-wheelset

Oops, mistype, should have been £160 for wheels alone. So Brevet frameset and bag effectively £90 extra this weekend.

Spend £10+VAT at a Topcashback affiliated site between now and midnight on Friday 14th July after activating above link for a £2.50 cashback bonus.
    Another bargain from Hotukdeals.

Eejits at Evans recorded my £14 chain at £8.53 so I missed the bonus. Sometimes think Evans can never do things right.

They refused to honour the purchase I made when then were selling cassettes for 2.99 instead of 29.99* - do you think they would be as quick to cancel the order this time? I am not risking 54.90 to find out

Still probably cheaper on Cycle to Work scheme.

Somehow, I always failed to notice this bike was Shimano 105 groupset with BR505 hydraulic brakes, guess it was because the CX Team is Sram Rival.

Anyway, bargain buy, 8Kg 105 hydraulic road bike... Reduced to £1200 in current Halfords "selected bikes 20% off" sale, yours for £1080 with British Cycling membership discount.

Bike more expensive than my bargain Cube back in May, but if weights are to be believed, the Boardman is ~1Kg lighter before you even look at swapping out the wheels for something like a nice pair of Campag Zonda C17s etc.

That is a bit of a bargain, and also has 0% finance.

Bit weird applying a chrome finish to a carbon frame though surely?

That does look nice, and an additional 7-10% off through use of gift vouchers on top of BC discount brings it under a grand.

Like that a lot, even the colourscheme, different - and not bland like a lot that is out there.

Check your work schemes as well, mine gives me 10% off on a charged up card, which would bring it down to £972.

Considering what a f*?!er it was to fit the folding versions I'm not sure you could pay me £16 to try and fit the wire beaded version.

There's one in our bike shed and they do look nice in the flesh. Still not sure I understand the concept of a disc bike without mudguard mounts though. You must be at least partly thinking about bad weather braking but are stuck with Cruds.

The FSA crankset and BB are pants too - the 105 cranks and a nice BSA Shimano BB are so much better wearing and running. That said the bike looks IMO great and the other specs are very nice; from all account Boardman's frames are cracking rides for the price

An unfortunate choice of phrase.

In respect of the 650b on Stan's Crest rims, I agree on both counts. In contrast, I popped the regular Schwalbe Ones on to 700c rims with my thumbs.

The ease of fitting tyres is as much down to wheel manufacturer as tyre maker. Michelin Pro 3's are tight as heck on my Campag wheels for example - slightly tight tyre on a fractionally oversized rim. It was the same on the Fulcrum's I owned.
Easy peasy on the Shimano DA wheels I have.
