For individual wine choices and fab food there's Arbutus

    Mmmmmm.....

I already listed it, friend of mine is a waiter there, I get free stuff :D

Do your dining companions as well?

Worth mentioning that a lot of Michelin Starred places are doing crazy lunch deals ATM, but there will be dress code issues, tweed anyone?

But yeah, Bleeding heart's got my vote.

In my experience, Bleeding Heart is somewhat overrated. It's good food, but not as good as the prices lead you to expect.

Where shall we go then, my fellow musketeers? How about a jaunt down to Greenwich? Or a pootle over to the Ship @ Wandsworth? :D

Sounds good, I was thinking more posh, but in cycle gear it just can't happen...

Greenwich is a fair ride, but where... I don't even know where wandsworth is

Fair ride my ars*, MTFU  I might even be tempted to take a half day and join you if you do. The Trafalgar is very good

I meant not that bad, it's feck all distance, but it's about a nice ride, some scram a couple of ales then back to the peth and get plastered

Has Corrigans for michelin stars? or is it just expensive?

Arbutus in Soho is rather fine

    Or
eat at the Bleeding Heart in Farringdon, then a couple of cheeky single malts at the SMWS??

True it's not a nice ride to get here, I can vouch for that. Well not unless you've got a stab vest

Cheeky single malts, now you're talking  I'll look forward to seeing you all pissed as farts at the Morpeth :D:D

    Proof, or ABV? Big difference...
  • Or Citie of Yorke for very reasonably-priced ales in central location.

Are the bleeding heart, okay food but take care in large parties, the bottle water was £4 a pop and once we'd guzzled our way through a couple of cases of reasonable plonk the good stuff came out  £2500 later and on top of the meal, ordinary plonk & expensive water the bill came as somewhat of a shock.

    Cheeky of them I thought.

if I join you for the afternoon, you might not make it through to the evening

Edit: or better idea, go somewhere nice for lunch then hit the pub???

ahh but you wont be cycling will you?

that sounds like a challenge! I damn well will be back on the bike, although might leave it at the Pub that evening.

I could bring the Beast and give you a lift home

I'm going to ride along the Millbank, right now, in anticipation!

I may even stop. I may not. I may even go home a completely different way.

Couldn't leave work without at least writing something on my beloved Bikeradar!

Maybe, I have lost some but not as much as I could have. Been rather... trying times and so that kinda stuff hasn't gone as well as hoped for hehe

Wow. Why don't you make the 18th Christmas drinks an all day event?

Don't worry I won't be gatecrashing. Intruding upon the Morpeth is enough for me....

    Joke it was a joke!

Sounds like fun though, don't worry I'll be firmly at work.
