I've had Alfa's all my life. And not one has broken down. And everyone of them put a smile on my face when I drove them.

Can't say the same about my current Passat. Great car but soulless

You've never owned an Alfa Sud Sprint or a 33 then! :D

Alfa's reputation doesn't really come from its more recent cars.

    Funnily enough I have

    Really?
    And neither broke down?
No problems with rust or the electrics or door catches breaking?
No suspension arms rusted through? No exhausts fell off?

    Interesting.

Call it what you want, it might annoy some people but it doesn't make you better or worse at cycling!

You poor, simple minded fool. Cycling isn't about putting your fecking feet on pedals and pushing down (or pulling up if you've got them there new fangled 'rat traps' and toe clips) and getting all sweaty. It's so much more than that. It's about passion, life, death, style, cameraderie, and tradition. And the tradition in our fair land is that you call it fecking CAMPY.

I'm not going to attempt to convince you all with linguistics, logic, or what they might or might not say in Mexico City. I don't fecking care. The English speaking world (and that includes the USA) says CAMPY

'Campag' (yuck, I feel dirty now) really boils my p*ss. I hate it. Fecking hate it. It's CAMPY. It's creeping into our lives and it will be stopped. If I ever see it in C+, I'm off to Cycling Weakly and will not return.

Editor Jeff Jones, I know where you live. Remember that!

Fixied that for you proto, buddy!:wink:

    I'm outta here, now.... Fast.....
Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!
