Well, not to get too far into this pursefight. We americans got it from the Italians who say "compi". Those fooking crazy Italians can't even say their own names properly. I'll have to notify the Campagnolo factory about that. But since I try to practice "When in Rome, do as the Romans" I'll use Campag in this forum. 0

Late 1970's early 1980's I had a 10 speed (I was devastated I couldn't afford a 12 speed
) Compagnolo and the bike mechanics at the LBS used to pronounce it as: Compag (with a hard "g"). It's stuck with me since. CAAD9
