I wonder where the profound observation thread is now.

Got hooked up with a thread from a politics newsgroup and was deleted for being a troll.

Monaco this weekend then, I don't think DRS will help there

  • F1 2011 - more overtaking but now much more mundane. It indeed belongs in this thread thanks to DRS and trashy tyres (I am/was a big fan).

Champions League final tomorrow night, I suspect that might be mundane, despite the hype.

Why is there so much fuss about the Monaco GP when It's the most boring race in what is now quite a boring sport.

Roast veg from frozen is not pretty, it's actually very mushy.

When it rains I want to spend money on bike bits on-line.

Though on a nice sunny day when out actually riding I never think "ummm, I'd be enjoying this much more if I had [insert upgrade] on my bike".

On a cycling note, 295W equates to 23.5mph in my TT position. I'm planning to experiment to see what my non-TT position speed is at 295W. I'm guessing 22mph.
