you sir are a steely eyed missile genius
Thank you sir. I'll leave AFX with the TT bands and Noodley with his pink bananarama female bands, but I'll have the proper on the road boys ones thanks very much. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -
It was a good pick. I found it hard to pick a rider. Cunego was my choice but like the Spaniards, there's no guarantee that their strongest rider comes up trumps on the day.
So picking a strong rider who will be riding as an individual, like Evans or Kolobnev, is a good tactic.
Can't wait for the overall scores, it looks a bit close at the top!0 -

Great pick! He has become a more all-round hilly classics rider this year, but still doesn't win that much. Well done!
Cheers. I just figured it was a course for a real strongman as opposed to a killer finisher, that'd it would be won by attrition by someone with a massive engine.
Don't laugh, but I was thinking of Hinault in Salanches. Of course Evans has less flair, charisma and class, but I figured he had the ability to grind away and overpower the others. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0
