That's the time trials and the road races, men's and women's. It wasn't my idea. Maximum of 50 points for each race.

Wednesday - Women's TT

al_crono_donne.jpg

2 laps = 26.8 km.

Thursday - Men's TT

al_crono_uomini.jpg

3 laps = 49.8 km

Road Races

al_corsa_linea.jpg

Women - Saturday - 9 laps = 124.2 km
Men - Sunday - 19 laps = 262.2 km

The official website is at http://www.mendrisio09.ch although it's pretty useless in terms of info. The startlists will be posted at :-

http://www.uci.ch/templates/UCI/UCI2/la ... A&LangId=1

...but probably not until the day before. If anyone has any provisional startlists for the women's events, or any useful links - form guide, please! - then feel free to post them.

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
