Fitted the Adamo and just rode down the avenue on it. As you say it feels really wide but I'm looking forward to trying it out properly.
stick at it and soon it will be perfect

Jeff, do you mind me asking what sort of hydration system you were using, and any comments on it?

    This one: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... vest-33889

Because the valve is at the top, it works well in the aero position but not if you're sitting upright).

It was nice to have the convenience of having all the fluid I needed for 4 hrs but I found my head was pushed down by the tail of my aero helmet meeting the top of the bladder. It'd work better with a shorter tailed helmet (e.g. Giro advantage) or a higher position.

Otherwise just go for normal bottles if you can get someone to hand them to you, or even bottles behind the saddle.

Thanks for the info - funnily enough I'd just been looking at them on Wiggle.

Might be able to sort out some logistics and have someone handing stuff up - I'm doing the bike leg of an ironman distance tri as part of a relay team.
