Recommended is 100mm, but there is no info on warranty, and I have heard of a few running 120mm.0

Supersonic, How do you find the exotic bars and stem?
Was Tempted with the carbon lot, stem and bar. But then noticed the Scandium was alot lighter, and the same story with the carbon stem. Alloy is lighter.0 -
Not really givem them a thrashing yet, but so far so good. the bar is a shallow rise, and 620mm - fairly narrow by todays standards. With the 80m stem seems solid and stiff. 40 quid for the pair and less than 400g, for scandium is a bargain.
The jewel in the range has to be that seatpost though!0 -
sonic. looking goodMabie forest. Maybe one of the greatest places to ride.0

With new downtube decals and all the new(ish) kit:

Really nice, stealthy looking, the new knight rider, or should I say the new 'Street Hawk'

Looking good there!!!
Where did you get the new decals from, look way better 8)0 -
I paid £620 for the frame when it was on offer at Wiggle.
Got the decals off ebay for 3 quid! The downtube is sort of diamond shaped, and the old ones were on the lower sections, and grey.0 -
Which you can see here:

Do you ever ride it!?
it looks fresh out of the box!! 8)2014 Whyte T-129S0 -
I clean it!0

i bet you use a tooth brush and spend half a day cleaning the tyres. THEY ARE SO CLEAN! may i ask whats the point?0
-
Jet wash brings things up great.
But I do tend to be a fair weather rider ;-)0 -
-
Aye, I know ;-)
You just have to be careful with the things - they are great at blasting the thich sh1te off!
Pedals are pretty battered, but they are old, and I have bent the X9 rear mech too.0 -
because i don't have a tap outside i have to use the kitchen ones. this means hot water through the hose0
-
I've just bought some Toras for my hardtail, but havent had the chance to use it much yet, sadly. Which flavour have you got? The 302 u turns that i have would be a bit underwhelming with your set up i would have thought!http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12613038Cat With No Tail wrote:Anyway, fk dis, I iz off 4 a ride innit. l8rz peepz0

Still looking awesome SS!
What size is it btw? Looks fairly big!
Go and get it muddy you wimp :P0 -
Lol, it is the medium, which has a seat tube length of 18 inches (and TT of 595mm)0
-
Would that be the same for the re-issue then? would explain why I didn't really fit then!
Means a zaskar will never fit me!! the L will be too tall, but have enough cockpit room, the medium is too cramped
Unless I had fited a long stem, but that would have ruines the handling.
Sorry just reminissing here0 -
-
The reissue is similar geo. 595mm is quite long!0

Dunno! Maybe about 24lbs. About right - not featherweight, but light and tough.
Will get better pics tomorrow I think when the light is better.0 -
someone's nicked half your spokes. You should get that looked at.
Looks good, bet those wheels are light.0 -
Not as light as the new ones, but 1650g per pair is pretty good. Rims are very stiff and made from Scandium/Al alloy. Tough.
Going to put my Tora 318 back on as will drop another half pound, then get some Revs later in the year.0
