I wonder if that little dig he did a while ago was to take wiggins and isolate him?

Andy needs to take off with a bigger acceleration than he's ever done. He has to get rid of Kloden.

    Paul S cracks me up.

45 mins ago "Brad just needs to stay with these riders. The ITT tomorrow is perfect for him. He could well be in Yellow"

Now - "The ITT in the last week is always strange. LA has good legs. He could beat Wiggins. Yada, yada, yada.."

It was either to bridge or isolate but the moment he realized wiggins was with him, he pulled off. Much respect.

Klöden is getting a free ride to the time trial. And the podium.

Ride of the day: Vandevelde -- awesome repeated efforts for the sake of Wiggins.

    GC standing...

    Contador
    Kloden
    Schleck
    Armstrong
    Wiggo
    Nibali

...if the groups stay the same.

Wiggins is losing time both ascending and descending. If they do this properly, the Schlecks might be able to get more than 2 minutes on wiggins.

That might mean top3 for Astana after the time trial with everything to play for on Ventoux

Agreed - him and Contador looked very easy on the Col de Romme - not pleased.

With the TT, Klodi has a genuine chance of winning the Tour. What a kick in the balls for the sport that would be.

I'd give Ride of the day to Thor - Sprinters aren't supposed to go up hills like that. And it started with a solo climb away from the peloton.

Well, gaining 2:17 on Bertie in 40-ish km, probably not. But he's way too close
