Sorry, I'll tone in down before dilemna comes in and threatens to set a lawyer on me.

The break will succeed today. HTC aren't going to work at the front to bring it back. Cav wants someone else to have a chance today.

Yeah but how annoying was that woman who sprinted over to pat Cancellara on the back?!

Don't worry Afx, I've already informed my lawyer, Lionel Hutz, to proceed with a writ against you for calling me a racist.

Lionel has asked for your address details to mail out correspondence.

Yeah - but am I right in saying Spartacus acknowledged her (or was he just shooing her away)?

I do hope that Glen Close hasn't knackered himself out before the Mountains...

    Lance, is that you?

Did anyone just see that enormous haystack gollywog in that field? Seriously, I'm not making that up. It looked very un-PC. I think they put it there to get Cav riled up.

    The latter.
  • Can somebody provide a full list of the points on offer today at the finish line?

I think he is looking tired, if you asked me.

Sorenson on the move - 20 km to go though.
  • Thank you!

So there will be a battle for a maximum of 13 points between the sprinters. With a nine point lead Cav should remain in green barring a disaster.

Nope - points same as yesterday. Start at 35 for 1st across the line.

Today's route - despite its bumpy profile - is classified as a flat stage for purposes of points distribution at the finish line. That means the first 25 riders will receive points based on the following formula:
    35, 30, 26, 24, 22, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1.

    Sorenson - front 2 - `16 secs over chasing 5.

    15 km to go.
  • Oh right. I thought today's stage had been classified as a medium mountain's stage.

According to Eurosport it has been.

That's what Eurosport said, but looking at the official website, keef_zip is right... Eurosport wrong again! What a surprise.

Tomorrow is moyenne montagne, today is plaine.
  • No doubt Duffers is in charge of Eurosport's stats as well as his many other duties.
