    Have faith. There's nowt better than a cameo performance from the tailenders. Top edges and knicks flying for 4. 30 odd runs. Grumpy Ponting. Then 2 quick wickets before lunch.

    425 all out, hope Anderson can get some movement in the air. It looks out of my office window like good swinging weather. As you say 2 out before lunch and the garden will be rosy again.

    A considerably closer finish than I'd at first anticipated yesterday afternoon, but a massive relief after the draw at Cardiff.

    It should be 1 all, not 1 0 to us :lol: Leave the Members alone, God love em. I get to sit in the Warner Stand due to mates being Members, no queuing for a jug of Pimms or a pee for us 8) .

    The members are indeed an amazing breed. They absorb cricket from the atmosphere. They can sleep through an entire session and still tell you accurately what each delivery did, how the field was set to each batsman and what the final outcome will be.
    If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers.

    They arent picked because they can bat. Only 10 and 11 "failed", Broad and Swann did very well I thought.
