If Cav got 16th, then I believe Thor's only 7 points out of green.

Cav had a lead of 26 - he'll have to have come 17th or better to retain the jersey

Cav in green by 1pt I think. Had a lead of 26 points - got 10 pts for 16th. Thor got 35 for the win.

No Menchov in the front group. Other main contenders were there i think

Millar finished 17th in the end - thought he would have just disappeared.

16th according to the official site. So Cav retains green jersey by one point.

God , that was way to exciting for an arm chair ride, Millar Dave done very well to even attempt, many would have given it their IN.

You are right QF - 16th.

    Jersey still with Cav...just.

Yeah, i thought it said earlier that he finished 17th, i found that a bit hard to believe!

Looks like Mick Rogers really suffered in that crash - the 169th guy came in 8:14 down and i cant see Mick yet. Cant see him near the top of the overall so i dont think i've missed him.
  • Millar got dropped and lost time. A shame, such hard work.. out of the top ten now.

    GREAT finish by Thor.

    Great day for Astana again.

Is it possible we'll see Thor getting into breaks and dragging himself over the Pyrenees to get points where Cav is gona be out the back?

He lost over a minute in just 1k!? He must have slowed to a vicars pace!?

Farrar went down in the same crash as Rogers. Cant see him in the first 169 either. Maybe they struggled on together. Must be a group out there somewhere.

    Im such a geek

Farrar came in 10:14 with Beppu and Timmer of Skil-Shimano and Kern of Cofidis. Rogers came in 13:14 down by himself while a few other Skil-Shimanoers drifted in at 15:58.

Rogers lost 13 minutes, with Farrar
  • Menchov, Anton, Astarloza, Arroyo and Rogers all lost time.

Well at least we don't have to pretend he's a GC contender any more. Same as Boonen - I mean, good grief Tom, we know you've lost a bit of zip over the years, but there's no need to deliberately crash every day just to avoid getting beaten in the sprint!

    GREAT finish by Thor.

    Great day for Astana again.

    Why exactly?
Zubeldia has dropped out of the top 10.
    Larnce didn't take yellow.
A great day in terms of not crashing and that seems to be an Armstrong Tour forte.

I actually think, at one point, they were all working for Dave Millar.....
Menchov, Anton, Astarloza, Arroyo and Rogers all lost time.
    Today, as opposed to tomorrow.
