Not even halfway through the stage and already the leading 3 are being reeled in. Lead dropped to under 3 mins now.

It's partly Millar's presence, he's one minute down on GC and many won't want to gift the yellow jersey. But also many teams see this as the first non-Cavendish stage so they have a big interest in reeling back any moves.
  • very risky to allow millar into a break.

Don't expect cav in this one. too hilly and the finish doesn't suit him or traditional sprinters.

I wonder why nobody is picking Spartacus?.

I wonder why nobody is picking Spartacus?.

probably because he'll stick out like a sore thumb with the yellow on - all the other GC contenders will be all over him like glue

They're keeping their men out of danger on the dangerous roads.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.
  • as much as they have done that you'd think no other teams have riders to protect.

Another classy rider out of the Voeckler mould. He'll win one day.

Good to know that the Holy Family Temple was started in 1500 and has been under repair for a couple of years. Thanks Paul! :D

Gap is hovering at about around a minute, roads are quite wet, wouldn't like to be going along some of these roads at full bore.

If only the radio ban was today - would help Millar's chances.

Txurruka is trying to bridge across now. Many teams behind reckon they have a chance. Still, Millar is an excellent rider and if anyone can stay away, it's him.

But 26km to go and one minute's lead = slim chance.

Millars going well on the slower lopes of the lickle hill, I think he will, What's his will thinking?

Another Bouger of a climb to come.I think one minute he has.

Are Astana just riding to keep their riders safe or are they making sure that Lance has a chance of yellow tomorrow. Too many other teams will want the break to come back as well. A bit more open than some stages will be.
