How many bikes do you own?

Only 3 bikes at the moment. Hack commuter (06 hardrock, singlespeeded), hack road bike (2nd hand decathlon sport 7.1 - £100), and a santa cruz chameleon, xt, revs, elixirs, stans 355s (not built up at the moment though).

All I need, a Mountain bike (Voodoo D-Jab) a Road bike (Boardman Road Team 09) and a hybrid (Boardman Urban Team 08).

But ti mtb frames? All I seem to hear these days is "my ti frames cracked again.."

The roster as of 07/09;

1989 Raleigh Delta - 'The Godfather' - bought with the paper round funds and saw me through the 'triathlon years'.......now on the turbo in the garage looking a little jaded, but still much loved!

2004 Merlin Malt 2 - first MTB - I LOVE this bike - it's fun to ride..end of..

2008 Giant Trance X3 - bought on a whim - looks great, but needs more ridin'

2009 Ribble Sportive Racing Roadster - back on the road for a big charity event in September and the Godfather isn't up to the job (cough, cough) - well I did need an excuse! :P

Guess I'm lucky - other half has uttered that well know phrase 'how many bikes can one person ride?' - but apart from that she's cool about it - given the 'saintly' life I lead otherwise I guess she's happy to allow this small indulgence!

All I can afford

Changed . Saving to go to Uni.

But it is I need really, a bike for the road and riding with my club, a hybrid for commuting and a long travel hardtail mountain bike for play.

scott YZ1 hard tail jump bike. (built for fun, never used after scaring myself sill on it.)
Scott Vertigo DH rig. (started out as a nice soft bike for Mrs bum, ended up being DH)
Mini Scott thingy for baby bum. (every time she sits on it she says i dont like it!)
And a BMX thats collecting spiders at the end of the garden.

I'm not intentioanlly a scott person but like previously stated, if it fits you buy it.

At the moment trying to find a hardtail winter project frame to get ready for racing next year.

i have 2 bikes at the moment, my felt compulsion 2 - which is my main ride 8)

my orange gringo - recently upgraded with RS toras, truativ crankset and a sdg saddle - which is my commuting bike/tow path ride

and i'm in negotiation at the minute to but my boss' specialized allez comp roadie (i'm trying to knock him down, he says he pays my wages!!) :?

not enough (5 bikes) - I NEED a carbon road bike & would like a new full Sus. Also would like a hack other than the SS to tow the kids trailer - as it is hard work on that!
