I think increased in general is valid..! Show-off.

Your name comes across differently in this thread too. Perv.

    ;)

yes it does unfortunately. I'm not a perv, but when it comes to bikes now thats another story

Science has done nothing for sex - just ask Kim Chambers....(yes, you will have to google for her!)

    Ouch.

In fact no, nothing wrong with being single. I was single for years, I loved it! I was reckless and gave even less of a phluck than I do now. Loved it! LOVED IT!

I'll be honest cycling has affected my sex life.

Firstly there is the performance. Yes, there was that night when I thought "wow cycling has increased my physical prowess". Overall I don't think my S'drive has been affected, its always been higher than anyone I've ever dated and so I have no real basis for comparision.

There are other implcations. Come Friday, I was tired (not so much now as my fitness is beyond my weekly commute) so nookie was a no no.

Waking up in the Mornings, neither I or my girlfriend are morning people so getting up an hour (ala Helen Mirren) early so we could do the deed and leave me enough time to cycle into work on time was a logistical nightmare. Especially as she doesn't need to get up until well after I've left the house.

Money. Tyres, Fulcrum hubs, innertubes, lycra etc... it all adds up and diminishes my ability to spend elsewhere, primarily treats i.e. flowers, restaurants, chocolates for the GF, which must have an affect on the ole heave'ho frequency.

Ultimately I'd like to know what extended and I mean over a period of years in the saddle can do to a Man's lower regions in terms of physically and fertility.

That's me always pushing the boundaries of taboo and what is socially in/acceptible to talk about.

My theory is that once you strip down all that social conditioning you realise that people are just people and the things we're told we shouldn't talk about are arguably the things we have most in common.

@ DDD - hilarious thread.

Have you considered that the old boy is going to look a bit more substantial the fitter you become? Which may offset a lack of flowers and other bribes.

Wouldn't recommend it in heavy traffic.

    Getting little presents from boyfriends?

I never get that, never have. Boo.

Maybe I should play the independent woman card and start buying him little things.

Oops, not if I'm embarking on a load of teacher-training mind, time to be poor again for a bit...

They weren't really teachers.... Real teachers don't drink, don't have weekends, don't have social lives, haven't evolved the part of the brain that experiences fun and simply do not have sex unless for procreation - for which, they use a text book to tell them how...

My friends a teacher... believe me, its true. Even cycling is slightly less cool when you'rea teacher... (or a Lawyer).
